Online applications for Pharmacist, Lab Technician and X-Ray Technician posts to begin from June 8
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has launched a fresh recruitment drive for paramedical professionals, offering opportunities for candidates looking to join one of India’s leading Central Armed Police Forces.
The recruitment campaign will fill 24 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) positions in the Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician and Lab Technician categories. Eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications online through the official recruitment portal from June 8, 2026.

The latest notification has been issued for candidates possessing 10+2 qualifications along with relevant paramedical diplomas or professional certifications.

Eligibility Criteria Explained
Educational Qualification
ASI Pharmacist
Candidates must have passed Class 12 and possess a recognized Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy. Registration under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 is mandatory.
ASI X-Ray Technician
Applicants should have completed Class 12 along with a recognized two-year Diploma in Radiography.
ASI Lab Technician
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science and hold a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
Age Limit
For all three posts, candidates must be between 18 and 28 years of age.
Age relaxations will be available for reserved categories as per government norms.
Physical Standards
Candidates will also need to satisfy the prescribed physical measurements.
For General, OBC, EWS and SC categories:
- Male Height: 170 cm
- Female Height: 157 cm
- Male Chest: 80–85 cm
Relaxations have been provided for Scheduled Tribes and candidates belonging to specified hill and North-Eastern regions.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will involve multiple stages designed to assess both professional knowledge and physical fitness.
Stage 1: Written Examination
Candidates will appear for a 100-mark objective examination conducted in OMR or CBT format.

Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates shortlisted from the written examination will undergo measurement verification.

Candidates will be assessed on practical knowledge related to their specific trade.
Stage 5: Medical Examination
A detailed medical fitness assessment will be conducted before final selection.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-5 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
