NTA to conduct UGC NET from June 22 to June 30; candidates can now check their subject-wise examination schedule
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the examination timetable for UGC NET June 2026, bringing clarity for lakhs of candidates preparing for the national eligibility test.
According to the latest public notice, the examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode over multiple days between June 22 and June 30, 2026. The subject-wise schedule has also been published, allowing applicants to identify their exam date and shift well in advance.
UGC NET 2026 Exam Dates Confirmed
The June session of UGC NET will be held in two daily shifts.
- Shift I: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift II: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The examination serves as a qualifying gateway for:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
- Assistant Professor Eligibility
- PhD Admissions
